Visit Disneyland and one of the most impressive audio-animatronic figures is President Abraham Lincoln in Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln. These great moments could end up even being greater if a demo video released by Garner Holt Productions is any indication. Garner Holt Productions currently produces audio-animatronic figures for Walt Disney Imagineering. The following video shows what what Mr. Lincoln could be like in the future. Watch it here:
As you can see, Mr. Lincoln’s expressions are even more advanced than ever seen before. It is a part of Garner Holt Production’s Expressive Head Project. This project seems aptly named when you see just how expressive this bust of President Lincoln is. There are 45 actuators controlling the expressions of his face. It is the first in a line of expressive busts called “The Living Faces of History.” These will be marketed to not only theme parks but also museums and cultural centers.
