In just a few short months, Shanghai Disneyland will officially open to the public. On June 16, the park will mark its grand opening to the public but, it was announced that in the weeks leading up the park’s opening, a trial run of operations will be held.
The Walt Disney Company was quoted by Variety saying, “A trial operations period is a key pre-opening step for all Walt Disney Parks and Resorts destinations and major attractions around the world. At Shanghai Disney Resort, the trial operations period allows invited participants to experience select attractions, entertainment and dining on select dates.”
Those partaking in the first run of the park include the likes of shareholders, resort partners and Shanghai Disney cast members. The trial which began this past Friday, will run for six weeks.
