New Video Shows In-Depth Look at Construction of Disneyland

Construction of Sleeping Beauty Castle

For many Disney fans there are some videos that have become almost common place when looking at historic Disney videos. Think of the construction of Disneyland and immediately an image of Walt Disney walking between some trees in a field comes to mind. Or perhaps you think of a time-lapse video of different elements of Main Street being build, or Sleeping Beauty Castle.

Today I share with you a video that is just over 37 minutes long that goes much further than those more common iconic clips. This video takes a more in-depth look at the year leading up to the opening of Disneyland. It is hosted by Tony Baxter, Ed Hobelman, and Walter Magnuson. There are some clips that I definitely had not seen before that are definitely worth watching. The commentary that accompanies these clips are equally fascinating. Maybe you have seen this video before, maybe you haven’t. Either way, I hadn’t seen this specific video and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

What do you think of this video?

Make it a GREAT day!
