When Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. returns on Tuesday September 23 at 9:00, fans will be introduced to a new regular in the cast. Lance Hunter, played by Nick Blood, will be joining Director Coulson’s team. The above photo offers a first look at what his character will be. According to Marvel, Hunter will be a mercenary.
In the world of comic books, Lance Hunter was the director of S.T.R.I.K.E., the English version of S.H.I.E.L.D. in the 1970’s comic books Captain Britain. It will be interesting to see if any of those storyline elements are used.
