Candlelight Ceremony Returns to the Disneyland Resort

Candlelight Ceremony at Disneyland

Tonight in Town Square the story of Christmas will be told with the help of choirs, orchestra, trumpeters, handbells, and a celebrity narrator for Disneyland’s Candlelight Ceremony. This holiday tradition at the Disneyland Resort dates back to 1958 and is returning just tonight and tomorrow night after an extended run last year.

Through the years many celebrity narrators have joined the Candlelight Ceremony. One fan favorite has always been Dick Van Dyke. Here is a video of Dick Van Dyke hosting the Candlelight Ceremony last year.

Performances will take place at 5:30 PM and 8:00 PM on both Saturday and Sunday night, weather permitting.
