Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade concert stage at Sleeping Beauty Castle

Last weekend, Disneyland Park filmed its segments for this year’s Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade which airs on ABC Christmas morning. This television special always features Disney’s most popular characters and showcases the newest characters and theme park attractions.

Well known celebrities and performers are always invited to take part in this holiday event, and this year was no exception.  Nick Cannon returned as the host for the parade here in Disneyland park, while Neil Patrick Harris will be hosting in Walt Disney World.

The artists that performed at this year’s parade included Demi Lovato, Jordin Sparks, Jason Derulo, Dove Cameron, the cast of Disney Channel’s Teen Beach Movie, and Mary J. Blige with special guest David Foster on piano.

Demi Lovato performed her cover of “Let It Go” from the Disney Pictures: Frozen soundtrack

Jordin Sparks and Jason Derulo performing “Baby, It’s Cold Outside”, which was ironic since it was pretty warm that day!

Blige photos and letting us use them.) Day two of the parade taping started off with a pep rally featuring Mike and Sully and dancers from Monsters University! Nick Cannon was this year’s host for the Disneyland side of the parade. What happened to Mario Lopez?
