Talking Mickey Finds Home at Magic Kingdom

Talking Mickey’s First Appearance on the port in Toon Town at Disneyland on March 4, 2011

A couple of years ago the internet was buzzing as “talking Mickey” made his debut on the porch of his house in Toon Town at Disneyland back in March of 2011. Move forward a couple of years and this morning the Disney Parks Blog revealed that Mickey will be talking with guests as he performs magic tricks in the Town Square Theater on Main Street, USA of the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World.

It quickly becomes apparent just how far Mickey has come in the last few years as he signs autographs and creates magic right before guests eyes.

Since first appearing in Toon Town, “talking Mickey” has also appeared in multiple other locations and experiences including the opening of World of Color, the 2011 D23 Expo, Aulani, and the Magic Kingdom.
