If you've been one of the 40 million annual visitors to Walt Disney World, you've probably seen a few frustrated, map-clutching guests trying to navigate their way through the parks. Maybe you've even been one of them.
Julie and Mike Neal's new "The Complete Walt Disney World" (Coconut Press, $24.95) can help. The couple logged more than 700 visits to the Central Florida tourist mecca to research their 320-page guidebook, which is illustrated by 447 photos and numerous maps.
The Neals offer endless tips and trivia – sample itineraries for each park, a breakdown of accommodations, clues to the "hidden Mickeys," an animal guide to the Animal Kingdom park, and "best bet" rides, shows and restaurants. An example: The Neals report that the best time to go to Disney World is during the first two weeks of December; the worst times are the week between Christmas and New Year's Day as well as on July 4. Also, consider going on a rainy day, when the crowds are sparse, because most of the attractions are indoors anyway.
