Starting today, guests staying in the club level rooms and suites on property have an option to purchase three extra FastPass+ selections per day for $50 per person. The program, which is now in its pilot stages, has guests participating for three days minimum ($150 per guest) and guests can make FastPass+ reservations 90 days out as opposed to the usual 60 days for hotel resort guests.
While some guests are concerned about the precedent that paying for the privilege of extra FastPass+ reservations creates, Disneyland has had a similar, albeit less expensive option since Summer 2017. Maxpass at Disneyland gives guests the opportunity to make FastPass reservations from anywhere in the park from the convenience of a smartphone, instead of walking to kiosks. Maxpass runs for $10 a day and does not grant Disneyland guests any extra reservations.
Another concern that has been raised is a general concern that Disney is becoming a more expensive vacation destination.
