Star Tours – The Adventures Continue is a 3D motion simulator ride located in Tomorrowland at Disneyland Park. It is a sequel to the original Star Tours attraction, which closed in 2010. The new ride features improved technology and special effects, and it takes guests on a thrilling journey through the Star Wars galaxy.
When guests enter the ride queue, they are transported to the Star Tours terminal where they see a variety of droids, including the beloved R2-D2 and C-3PO. After watching a pre-flight safety video, guests board a StarSpeeder 1000 spacecraft and prepare for their journey.
Once the ride begins, guests are taken on a randomized sequence of adventures, so no two rides are exactly the same. During the ride, guests encounter iconic Star Wars characters and locations, such as Darth Vader, Yoda, and the Death Star. The ride features immersive 3D visuals and realistic motion, simulating the experience of flying through space.
Throughout the ride, guests are also engaged in interactive experiences, such as using their ride vehicle’s laser cannons to help defeat Imperial forces. The ride concludes with a safe landing back at the Star Tours terminal, where guests can view photos of their ride experience and shop for Star Wars merchandise.
