The Haunted Mansion extended queue at Disneyland continues to undergo its expansion. This will not only extend the space where guests can wait for this iconic attraction, but it will also extend the story that is found within. In the meantime, a virtual queue is used with guests entering through the front of the mansion via a much shorter entry queue that reopened in July.
On Sunday, October 6, the Daps Magic team stopped by Disneyland to check out the progress being made on the Haunted Mansion’s new queue. Things do seem to begin to be coming together in this new space. Some Magnolia trees have been put in place. A mausoleum is also coming together in the back of the grounds against the berm. Take a look at the video and photos of the expanded grounds of the Haunted Mansion here:
The legend behind the Haunted Mansion which this now haunted manor was once built by a prosperous sea captain. Now, years later, the mansion’s staff continue to maintain the happy haunting grounds. The newly expanded queue will be tying into these stories along with some others. There will also be new gardens inspired by Master Gracey, Madam Leota, and the one-eyed cat.
Along with expanding the queue/grounds for the Haunted Mansion, a new elevator is also being added for guests with disabilities to exit from the Haunted Mansion.
