Check Out this Disney Halloween Horror-Inspired Merchandise!

,

As the Halloween season continues, Disney fans are showing that they have a love of horror (including some on Daps Magic’s team). Disney has shared that it is joining the celebration with some merchandise that includes horror-inspired collectibles, gaming, fashion, and décor. This is a bit of a departure from a company that has been known for a century for its family-friendliness. It doesn’t completely break the Disney mold, but it definitely can stretch things a bit.

For Halloween this year, Disney is leaning into some of its most iconic adult horror and cult-favorite properties. This is being done through a range of new products and experiences that are inspired by franchises that include 20th Century Studios’ Alien, The Simpsons: Treehouse of Horror, Edward Scissorhands, and even some classic Disney Villains!

Disney shared the following highlights:

  • Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2, the latest installment in the acclaimed sci-fi horror gaming franchise, alongside new collectibles, apparel, and home décor inspired by the iconic Xenomorph.
  • A new wave of Treehouse of Horror merchandise, including collectibles and plush featuring fan-favorite nightmare-fueled moments from Springfield.
  • Fashion and collectibles inspired by Tim Burton’s cult classic Edward Scissorhands, bringing gothic nostalgia to a new generation of fans
  • A bold new Disney & Darc Sport collaboration featuring the Big Bad Wolf that reimagines one of Disney’s earliest Villains through a streetwear lens

These launches showcase a side of Disney that is a big different than traditionally highlighted. Instead, it shows the company’s roster of horror, sci-fi, and cult-favorite properties that continue to connect with adult fans, collectors, and gamers.

What do you think of this Disney Halloween horror-inspired merchandise? What do you like the most? Will you be adding any to your own collection? If so, what? Share your thoughts and opinions in the comments below!
