A Disney Lorcana Curator’s Collection has been announced. It will celebrate classic Disney heroines. Specifically, it will honor their bravery, kindness, and determination.
The first Curator’s Collection Set is themed to Disney Heroines. The spotlight for this set is six stunning glimmers that are placed on striking full-art foil cards. The custom premium packaging boasts a whimsical color palette and iridescent accents. This is meant to transform players right into the fantastical worlds of favorite classic characters.
The six characters that were chosen to be a part of the first Curator’s Collection Set each embody what it is to be a heroine:
- They set off on epic adventures
- They overcome obstacles
- They take control of their own story
- They lead with a corgeous and compassionate heart
The spirit of the characters in this set can be felt through the game cards. They are richly saturated, expressive, and set against scenes that could have been pulled straight from the screen.
The first set includes the following characters from Disney’s The Little Mermaid, Frozen, Aladdin, Mulan, and Peter Pan:
- Ariel – Spectacular Singer
- Elsa – Trusted Sister
- Jasmine – Royal Seafarer
- Mulan – Elite Archer
- Anna – Trusting Sister
- Tinker Bell – Giant Fairy
Some of these glimmer characters have been highlighted on other game cards before. This includes Anna and Elsa. However, Disney Lorcana artists have reimagined the artwork to match the aesthetic of the new collection set. This utilizes the distinct design style that makes Disney Lorcana cards so recognizable. Each glimmer is beautifully depicted in a way that honors the original animation and also has new alternative elements that fit right into the realm of Lorcana.
This set is included in the Disney Parks collection and will be available in limited quantities at the Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort, along with select Disney Stores worldwide, starting July 17, 2026. Here are the locations they can be found at in the Disney Parks:
