Bringing Disneyland’s Hidden Past To Life Through Sound | Disneyland Handcrafted Official Description

Step behind the scenes of Disneyland Handcrafted, directed by Leslie Iwerks, to discover how the sounds of Disneyland were recreated from complete silence and added to never before seen Disney archival footage.

In this behind-the-scenes video, the world-class audio team at Skywalker Sound share how they brought rare archival footage to life that originally had no sound at all. Sound Editor & Pre-Recording Mixer Bonnie Wild, Foley Artist Shelley Roden, and Foley Mixer Dennis Leonard use handcrafted techniques, creative performance, and meticulous detail to rebuild the audio from the ground up.

From footsteps on Main Street U.S.A. and tractor engines to the subtle textures of construction, every sound is created by hand and thoughtfully designed to transform silent history into a fully immersive experience.

Disneyland Handcrafted, available on ‪Disney Parks‬ YouTube and streaming on Disney+.
