Walls have gone up once again around the Emotional Whirlwind on Pixer Pier at Disney California Adventure. This comes after the attraction was closed for a refurbishment earlier this year. Following its refurbishment, it has seemingly been closed more days than open. It has appeared that attempts have been made to have it open, but have been thwarted by the attraction. In an almost amusing way, the attraction seems to be living up to its name for those who work to maintain and operate it.

Initially, the attraction closed in January for its scheduled refurbishment. This was believed to be scheduled for just a few weeks. However, it has now been several months, and once again, walls are up around the attraction. This time, the walls are behind the signage and characters for the attraction. Daps Magic team member Steven took the following pictures of the attraction this week with walls around it.

At this point, there is no known reopening date for the attraction. With the walls up around the attraction now, it probably won’t be anytime soon.
