Toy Story Midway Mania! Closes for Refurbishment at Disney California Adventure

Guests visiting the Disneyland Resort who made their way into Pixar Pier at Disney California Adventure found that Toy Story Midway Mania! was closed. This planned closure is so that the attraction can be refurbished. The closure comes just months ahead of the arrival of the next Pixar film, Toy Story 5, in theaters. This newest film in the Toy Story franchise arrives in theaters on June 19, 2026. At this time, it is unknown when the attraction will reopen.

Daps Magic team member Steven stopped by Disney California Adventure on Monday, April 6, 2026, and took photos of the closed attraction. Some cute signs tell that things are closed within the theme and story of the attraction. Check them out here:
