Disney Sequoia Lodge at Disneyland Paris is undergoing a substantial refurbishment. Today, on the 34th anniversary of Disneyland Paris, new details were revealed about this transformation. This transformation of Disney Sequoia Lodge is part of a bigger hotel transformation plan at Disneyland Paris.
For the Disney Sequoia Lodge, the goal is to improve the guest experience while also preserving the hotel’s warm, authentic, woodland atmosphere that fans have enjoyed since 1992. The first phase of the renovation is focused on the rooms in the 5 outdoor lodges. These are appropriately located in a forest of sequoias.

The refurbished rooms will adopt the new artistic direction being used at Disney Sequoia Lodge. This pays tribute to the beauty of nature while also celebrating many Disney characters who live in the forest. There will be three different themes found in these rooms:
- a design inspired by Disney Animation’s Bambi (1942)
- a celebration of Pocahontas (1995)
- a design dedicated to the Pixar Studios film Brave (2012)

While work is hard underway at Disney Sequoia Lodge this year, guests will be able to stay in and enjoy them in the first quarter of 2027, Disneyland Paris shared. This is the start of the renovation of Disney Sequoia Lodge. It will be followed by renovations and redesigns for the lobby and restaurant, along with the shopping and recreation areas. While the renovation work is happening, the hotel will still welcome guests.
What do you think of these themes for the rooms at this hotel? Are you excited to see them completed? Would you like to stay in them? Share your thoughts and opinions in the comments below!
