The Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship has arrived at its home port for the next five years, Singapore. The Disney Adventure arrived on the evening of March 3rd in Singapore. This marked the culmination of a global cruise that started in Europe and made its way to Florida, California, and Tokyo, before arriving in Singapore.

The arrival of the massive Disney ship was an exciting moment. The atmosphere was described as electric as the ship approached Marina Bay Cruise Center Singapore. The ship was greeted by a stunning water salute and cheers from cast members, partners, and fans alike. The sky came to life as the ship was welcomed with beautiful fireworks. This marks the beginning of a new chapter for cruise vacations in the region.

Singapore Welcome Celebration

Singapore is a leading hub for cruising in Asia. There are direct flights from over 160 cities around the world. It also has world-class cruise infrastructure. This includes the recently expanded Marina Bay Cruise Centre Singapore. The Disney Adventure’s five-year homeporting commitment marks a major milestone both for Singapore and the Disney Cruise Line.

The celebration didn’t end with fireworks and water fountains. A red carpet was rolled out for more than 200 Singapore cast members and those who were special to them. They gathered in style for the Disney Adventure’s arrival. This was a celebration that was inspired by the Hollywood Spotlight Club. This is one of the Disney Adventure’s rotational dining locations. This was a celebration that paid tribute to the golden age of Hollywood. The evening was full of gourmet food, plenty of glitz and glamour, and happy celebrators.

The Disney Adventure will soon be going on its maiden voyage. Ahead of its arrival in Singapore, Disney announced that Robert Downey Jr. will be the godparent for this massive Disney ship. The ship itself is made up of seven distinct areas. They are inspired by the stories of Disney, Pixar, and Marvel. The areas include:

• Disney Imagination Garden
• Disney Discovery Reef
• San Fransokyo Street
• Wayfinder Bay
• Town Square
• Marvel Landing
• Toy Story Place

Throughout the ship, guests will see a wide range of Disney stories coming to life, including Big Hero 6, Toy Story, Moana, multiple Disney Princess stories, and more!
