3,200+ Cast Members with Decades of Service Celebrated at Disneyland Resort

Every day, 36,000 Cast Members ensure Disneyland Resort is The Happiest Place on Earth, bringing magic to guests from around the world. To celebrate outstanding magic makers with decades of service, Disney Parks around the globe host Service Celebrations, honoring cast members, crew members, and Imagineers who are celebrating a milestone service anniversary.

On March 12, the 2026 West Coast Service Celebration took place at Disney California Adventure park, offering more than 3,200 cast members celebrating a milestone anniversary an exclusive night of fun and appreciation for 10-55 years of service. A selection of event highlights includes:

  • Honorees and their guests had Disney California Adventure park all to themselves for the evening with a multitude of dining, attractions, and entertainment offerings, including:
    • 15 attractions, including Radiator Springs Racers and WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure 
    • 30+ photo locations (with unlimited complimentary downloads) 
    • 5 live entertainment performance locations  
    • 20+ character meet and greet opportunities  
    • Unlimited access to 55+ food and beverage offerings 
  • Honored magic makers were greeted with a congratulatory toast by incoming Disney Experiences Chairman Thomas Mazloum and incoming Disneyland Resort President Jill Estorino, celebrating their years of service. 40+ year honorees also received a special dinner and reception at Carthay Circle Restaurant. 
  • Honorees experienced a special moment of recognition, where they were cheered on by their fellow cast members as they strolled down the red carpet into the event. 
  • At the end of the night, cast members and their guests enjoyed an exclusive performance of “Celebrate You” at the World of Color viewing areato highlight The Walt Disney Company’s appreciation for our cast members, who ensure Disneyland Resort is The Happiest Place on Earth.

  • On average, full-time professional and skilled-labor cast members have worked at Disneyland Resort for more than 12 years.
  • Approximately 3 out of 4 cast members indicate an intent to remain with the Disneyland Resort for five or more years.
  • Disney provides cast members and their families with complimentary access to Disney parks and discounts on Disney experiences and products, so they can make their own memories. Cast members also have access to one-of-a-kind events, including previews of new entertainment and attractions, cast traditions like canoe races, special after-hours celebrations, and more!
  • A dedicated on-site Cast Care Center helps cast members navigate 20+ resources available, including the Employee Assistance Program (EAP), legal support, tax services, commuter assistance, and connecting with quality child and senior care, pet care, and homework help. Cast members can also visit on-site Partners Federal Credit Union branches and an on-site pharmacy with low prices on a variety of over-the-counter medications and products.
  • Through apprenticeships, certificate courses, mentorship programs, and other development programs, there are many ways for cast members to expand their skillsets and take the next step in their careers. 2 in 3 manager-level cast members began their careers in hourly operational roles.
