Sunday, February 8, 2026 is the 25th anniversary of Disney California Adventure. Originally called Disney’s California Adventure, the park has always celebrated the spirit of adventure that comes out of California. This originally focused on the state itself and then later on Walt Disney’s “suitcase and a dream” as he ventured out to California to pursue his dreams. In both cases, California has always been a place of possibility and where anything is possible if you have the courage to pursue your dreams.

On Friday, February 6, 2026, Disney California Adventure kicked off the celebration of its 25th anniversary. This included the return of Soarin’ Over California, new merchandise, a novelty bucket, and more. Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse also debuted new outfits for the milestone celebration. This colorful outfits are reminiscent of the spirit of the park when it first opened. Friend of Daps Magic, Johnny, caught Mickey and Minnie as they debuted their new outfits on Buena Vista Street.
