Disney+ continues to add more content and ways to consume content. Along with its current streams, Disney+ is now offering local news feeds from ABC in 8 cities across the United States. The following stations’ 24/7 livestreams are now available on Disney’s premiere streaming service:
- New York (WABC-TV)
- Los Angeles (KABC-TV)
- Chicago (WLS-TV)
- Philadelphia (WPVI-TV)
- Houston (KTRK-TV)
- San Francisco (KGO-TV)
- Raleigh-Durham, NC (WTVD-TV)
- Fresno, CA (KFSN-TV)
These streams include live, market-specific newscasts, breaking news, weather updates, and special community events and celebrations. They can be found in the ABC News Hub and the Live Hub on Disney+. Eventually, subscribers who are located in one of these markets will see their local-market station featured elsewhere on Disney+.
Disney+ already offers national news coverage that includes World News Tonight with David Muir, ABC News Live Prime with Linsey Davis, 20/20, Good Morning America, Nightline, This Week with George Stephanopoulos, and What You Need to Know. The programming joins other offerings that can be found on Disney+, that includes movies and shows from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and National Geographic. Soon, Disney+ will also be offering Hulu’s live programming as well for those who have an applicable subscription.
