“The Game Awards will never let you down.” At least that is what Rowlf the Dog and Miss Piggy sang during a performance at the awards show on Thursday night. The two Muppets appeared throughout the three-hour broadcast of this show. The appearance of Miss Piggy and Rowlf at The Game Awards comes as The Muppets are continuing to celebrate 70 years since being created. Next year, there will be a 50th anniversary special for The Muppet Show on Disney+. The Muppets will also be arriving in their new home at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets. Muppet fans are undoubtedly hoping that there will be even more fun Muppet offerings on the horizon as well.
