The Candlelight Processional at Disneyland is a tradition that dates back to the era of Walt Disney. This annual tradition sees a celebrity narrator tell the story of Christmas with the help of a mass choir, orchestra, handbell choir, soloists, and fanfare trumpeters. All of this takes place on a beautiful stage that is erected in Town Square on the front of the Main Street Station. Each year, fans make guesses about who the celebrity narrator be. Since Disneyland doesn’t announce this ahead of time, the sound check in the afternoon is always a special moment when the narrator is revealed. This year, the narrator is Benjamin Bratt.
Bratt is known for voicing Ernesto de la Cruz in Pixar’s Coco. He has also appeared in numerous other movies and shows through the years including Doctor Strange and Miss Congeniality. He also took on the role of Senator Bail Organa in Andor.
Last year, actress Kathryn Hahn narrated the Candlelight Processional at Disneyland. She joined a long line of celebrities who have narrated this ceremony through the years that includes Dick Van Dyke, James Earl Jones, Brie Larson, and others.
Daps Magic will have the full Candlelight Processional from tonight up as quickly as possible. Be sure to subscribe and follow to not miss any of the Disney and positive stuff.
