Guests visiting the Downtown Disney District at the Disneyland Resort have been treated to a very special surprise. Douglas Fir, the talking and moving Christmas tree, has been making magic with guests during the Holidays at the Disneyland Resort. This little tree creates magical moments with happy tunes and chatter as it moves around the west end of the Downtown Disney District. Guests who interact with him might hear him sing, tell jokes, or interact in other ways with them!

Daps Magic team member Steven stopped by the Downtown Disney District recently and happened upon Douglas Fir. Check out the video and photos that he took here:

Douglas Fir first appeared in Walt Disney World Resort in 2023. At the Disneyland Resort, he has become equally beloved since he arrived. In general, it seems that Douglas Fir can be found in the very late morning or early afternoon in the Downtown Disney District. He does not have times listed for appearances. Appearances are just happy surprises for those who happen to get to see him!

The arrival of Douglas Fir is just one of the merry offerings that can be enjoyed during Holidays at the Disneyland Resort. Guests can also enjoy other entertainment, character meet and greets, food and beverage offerings, decorations, and shopping for merchandise. This merry time of year continues through January 7, 2026.
