Anyone who has followed the entertainment offerings at Downtown Disney District through the years has probably seen Westbeat perform at one point or another. Through the years, they have appeared during different seasons in different outfits and singing different tunes. The a cappella group brings modern energy to songs new and old. During Halloween Time, the group in recent years has appeared as ghosts who have gotten out of the Haunted Mansion. They were known as the SCAREolers. This year, however, they have taken on a different approach for the season. Calling themselves Villainous, they are wearing outfits inspired by different villains. The new looks aren’t the only thing different for the group this year; they have also changed up their performance a bit.
On Saturday, September 13, 2025, Villainous performed on the stage in the Downtown Disney District. The Daps Magic team stopped by and caught two of the performances of the evening at 8:00 PM and 9:00 PM. The first two sets were earlier at 5:30 PM and 6:30 PM. Songs that were performed included Ghostbusters, I’m In Love With a Monster, I Put a Spell on You, Thriller, and many others. Here is a look below at their performances:
