Shanghai Disney Resort is expanding its Soaring Over the Horizon attraction. It is also adding a new ending to the attraction. The Adventure Isle attraction has been delighting fans for nearly ten years since the park opened. Soon, it will be delighting even more fans as Shanghai Disney Resort continues to add more magical experiences for its guests.

We are very excited to welcome even more guests to embark on this magical ride in the near future and to encourage our seasoned fans to return and experience its new ending.”
Soaring Over the Horizon features an original story that takes guests on an incredible flight around the world. The attraction gives guests an immersive experience like never before. The expansion of the attraction will see it expand by approximately 50% in capacity, giving more guests than ever a flight on the aerial tours around the globe.
The family-friendly attraction gives guests of all ages an unforgettable experience. With the expansion, guests will continue to take off from Adventure Isle and fly over some of the world’s most iconic landmarks and natural destinations. This includes the Great Wall in Beijing and the beautiful city skyline view of Shanghai. The updated attraction will also include a surprise transformation that concludes the special journey with a new destination at Shanghai Disney Resort, along with a few other magical surprises.
