The entrance to Disney California Adventure for Pixar Place Hotel guests is closing in 2026. This, along with early entry to Disneyland or Disney California Adventure for Disneyland Resort Hotel guests, will both be ending after January 4, 2026. The entrance to Disney California Adventure currently allows guests to walk across the street and enter Disney California Adventure near Seaside Souvenirs. The entrance was recently updated to utilize the new entrance gates. On the Pixar Place Hotel page on the Disneyland Resort website, the following update was shared about this entrance and staying at this hotel:
Guests staying at Pixar Place Hotel can enjoy close proximity and easy access to the Downtown Disney District and theme park entrances, including convenient access to the Disney California Adventure Park entrance located across the street from the hotel (available through January 4, 2026).
To use the hotel’s theme park entrance, a Guest (age 3+) must be staying at one of the Disneyland Resort hotels and must have valid theme park admission and a park reservation for the same park on the same date. Link theme park tickets or passes, theme park reservations and hotel reservations to the Disneyland app to show verification of these requirements. Tickets and passes can be viewed by selecting “Tickets and Passes” and hotel dates of stay can be viewed by selecting “My Hotel Reservation” in the Disneyland app.

For guests staying at the Pixar Place Hotel starting on January 5, 2026, the entrance at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa can be utilized. Disney said that this change was made to align with guest demand. The entrance for Pixar Place Hotel guests to Disney California Adventure was underutilized. It will not be reopened.
