On this day in 1940, illustrator, animator, designer, and writer Toby Bluth was born. He was the younger brother of animator Don Bluth, who also worked at Disney for a time. Toby’s work can be seen in several Disney films, including ‘The Tigger Movie’ and ‘Mickey, Donald, Goofy: The Three Musketeers.’ His intent with his own watercolor art was “creating the moment that you think you saw” from Disney films, which is often the emotional essence more than the reality.
