On this day in 2015, The Magic of Disney Animation closed at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Walt Disney World. An opening day attraction, it was a tour that took guests through Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Florida unit. Elements of the tour changed over the years, but it originally contained three short films about the process of animation and a chance to observe the working studio from above. The space was eventually converted into the ‘Star Wars’ Launch Bay. [10 years ago in 2025]
