On this day in 2005, the Raging Spirits roller coaster attraction opened in the Lost River Delta section of Tokyo DisneySea. On the coaster, guests careen through ancient Incan ruins that are reminiscent of a ceremonial site in Peru. Designed by Walt Disney Imagineering and manufactured by Intamin, Raging Spirits is very similar in layout to Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril at Disneyland Paris. It is the only attraction at Tokyo DisneySea to contain an inversion. [20 years ago in 2025]
