Since the day that Disneyland opened, entertainment has been a huge part of the Disney experience. In the fourth episode of We Call It Imagineering, the focus is on the show and the part of Imagineering that brings it to life. Disney Live Entertainment is the branch of Imagineering that is tasked with bringing shows to life in the Disney Parks and beyond. David Lightbody, Senior Vice President of Disney Live Entertainment, shared, “As the theatrical arm of Walt Disney Imagineering, Disney Live Entertainment is the group that creates, produces, and delivers all the entertainment experiences at Disney destinations – and beyond! – the world over. We do everything from parades and character greetings to stage shows, special events, and nighttime spectaculars.”
