On July 17, 2025, Walt Disney – A Magical Life will open to the public. Earlier in the week, Daps Magic was among the invited media that were given the opportunity to see the first public performance of this new show at the Opera House. Today, we are excited to share the full speech that Walt Disney gave during this show. Be warned, this is a pretty major spoiler for those who want to see the show. Also, take note: This is a show that really should be seen in person. The camera just doesn’t capture the magic that is seen and felt in the room (read Mr. Daps’ initial thoughts here).
The show opens up with a new version of One Man’s Dream. This is now narrated Disney CEO Bob Iger and has new footage and photos included. This is the story of Walt Disney. While Iger is the narrator, most of the story is told by Walt Disney. This story brings the audience up through Walt Disney’s life to where he is announcing the Florida Project. It is approximately 1964, and Walt Disney is in the prime of his career. He has many projects happening and many dreams that are on the horizon and will soon become reality. It is at this point that Walt Disney welcomes guests into his office during A Magical Life. See Walt Disney chat with the audience below.
