Port Royale Jazz Club Opens in New Orleans Square at Disneyland

A new sitting area has opened in New Orleans Square at Disneyland. This seating area provides an expanded area for guests to enjoy food purchased at the Royal Street Veranda. Previously, it was the home of the Port Royal Curios and Curiosities. This recently closed, and now signage indicates it is the Port Royale Jazz Club. The Daps Magic team stopped by to check out this new location. Below are new photos and video:

As can be seen in the photos and video, there are a lot of details put into this new location. The sign has even been updated at the entrance to reflect the new name of this place. While guests can walk through the door from the Royal Street Veranda and straight into this new seating area, the door that normally goes to the courtyard between the Port Royal Jazz Club and Pieces of Eight is closed.

Previously, Port Royal Curios and Curiosities was the location where Haunted Mansion merchandise could be purchased. The new shop, Madame Leota’s Somewhere Beyond, is now where Haunted Mansion merchandise can be purchased. This is right near the exit of the Haunted Mansion.

Port Royal Jazz Club is a welcome addition to the area and provides more space for guests who are looking to sit after purchasing food at Royal Street Veranda. Previously, the sitting area for this quick service restaurant was very small and crowded. The new dining area is already being enjoyed by guests at Disneyland. It also has what appears to be new background music. Daps magic will have video of the audio soon.
