Season of the Force might have just ended at the Disneyland Resort. However, over at Disneyland Paris, a season for Star Wars fans is just about to kick off in a new way. Disneyland Paris has announced that starting on May 31st, the new Lounge Lightspeed will be opening. This seasonal terrace will give guests the chance to relax and also meet BDX Droids and other characters from a galaxy far, far away. This experience will be open until September 17, 2025.
Disneyland Paris released photos of some of the offerings, including concept art of the terrace. Details about this new experience were also shared. They can all be found below.
From 31 May 2025, guests will be able to meet the charming BDX droids, as well as other Star Wars characters, at Lounge Lightspeed, a chic seasonal outdoor terrace located on the roof of Starport offering a unique and unprecedented experience.
With a capacity of around 50 guests, Lounge Lightspeed not only offers a unique view of the X-wing starfighter but also of the surrounding area of Discoveryland. Designed as an outdoor space, it is the perfect place to relax this summer.
Its story will be linked to the attraction Star Tours: the Adventures Continue, as at Lounge Lightspeed, galactic travellers will be able to enjoy refreshing drinks or a Star Wars-themed snack before embarking on a journey to a Galaxy far, far away. Located at the entrance to the bustling spaceport of Star Tours, the lounge has a similar environment of metallic structures and graceful skylines, accented by neon lights and music transporting patrons to another galaxy. Whilst placing their order at the bar, guests may also recognize a familiar little droid as he waits to be sent for reprogramming at the factory…
Lounge Lightspeed will be hosted by Coca-Cola and open from 1pm to 10pm until 17 September 2025.
