Michael Giacchino, the director of Marvel Studios’ Werewolf by Night is bringing another story to the world that focuses on this character. Giacchino has teamed up with artist David Messina to create Werewolf by Night: Blood Moon Rise. This one-shot comic book has this tortured hero up against Dracula.
“It could be a lost story from the original run, in a way,” Giacchino told EW. “There’s a fun twist to it that I think is going to be really interesting for people who are into Jack Russell and that lore.”

This one-shot will also include a backup story by Jason Loo, writer of the current Werewolf By Night: Red Band comic series. It will celebrate the character’s history and future along with various bonus materials.
Werewolf by Night: Blood Moon Rise will be available starting July 30, 2025.
