On this day in 2010, Tiana from ‘The Princess and the Frog’ was officially inducted into the Disney Princess Royal Court. The ceremony took place at the New York Palace Hotel in Manhattan. A horse and carriage brought the guest of honor down Madison Avenue to the event. Eight other Disney princesses and celebrity guests, including Anika Noni Rose, the voice of Tiana, were waiting to greet her. Prince Naveen had the honor of crowning the new princess.
