Since opening in May of 2022, EPCOT’s Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind has utilized a virtual queue for guests to experience it. Similarly, since opening last year, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure at Magic Kingdom has used the same system for guests who want to experience the attraction. Starting on February 25th, this will change.
The Walt Disney World Resort website now shows that starting on February 25, 2025, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will no longer require virtual queues. Variations of the following announcement can be found on each attraction page’s website:
Beginning February 25, 2025, Guests will be able to experience Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind via a standby queue, Lightning Lane Single Pass or Lightning Lane Premier Pass. A virtual queue will no longer be offered at this attraction.
Until February 25th, guests will still utilize the virtual queue systems on the My Disney Experience app at 7:00 AM or then 1:00 PM if inside the park where the attraction is found. When these two attractions no longer utilize virtual queues, there will be no attractions utilizing virtual queues at Walt Disney World Resort.
