On this day in 1985, veteran voice actor and Disney Legend Clarence Nash sadly passed away after a battle with leukemia. Nash was best known for performing the voice of Donald Duck for over 50 years. Over his career, Nash worked on 120 shorts and films, beginning with Donald’s first appearance in ‘The Wise Little Hen’ and concluding with ‘Mickey’s Christmas Carol.’ He dubbed Donald’s voice phonetically into other languages so it was consistent worldwide.
