On January 17, the Lunar New Year Celebration will kick off at Disney California Adventure Park at the Disneyland Resort. The celebration will continue through February 16, 2025, and feature delicious food, themed entertainment, and so much more. In addition, there will be exciting special offerings for Disneyland Magic Key Holders during the celebration.
Magic Key Holders can purchase a specially-priced Sip and Savor Pass to taste an array of delicious dishes inspired by Chinese, Vietnamese, and Korean cuisine. Each pass provides 6 digital coupons that you can redeem for select food and nonalcoholic beverages at participating locations, a commemorative credential with a new limited-edition design, and a festive Magic Key-themed lanyard.
There are three vibrant designs for the commemorative credential that pay homage to either Chinese, Vietnamese, or Korean cultures, and feature some favorite Disney characters in culturally-inspired outfits designed by Disney artist Ann Shen. When purchasing your Sip and Savor Pass, let the Cast Member know which limited-time design you want.
During the Lunar New Year Celebration, you can take your tasty treats to a semi-secluded dining area for Magic Key Holders under Silly Symphony Swings. While there, be sure to snap a picture with your family and friends at a special festive photo opportunity.
Don’t forget about festive merchandise. Commemorate the Year of the Snake with a special Magic Key-branded Lunar New Year-themed t-shirt and pin. The t-shirt and pin will be available for purchase while supplies last at Festival Gifts near The Little Mermaid – Ariel’s Undersea Adventure and Elias & Company.

Important Information
- 2025 Lunar New Year Sip and Savor Passes and all associated digital coupons expire February 16, 2025. Associated digital coupons may not be redeemed at any other event.
- Valid Magic Key Pass and photo ID must be shown upon purchase of the Sip and Savor Pass to receive the special price and lanyard.
- One digital coupon may be redeemed for one eligible food or nonalcoholic beverage item at a participating Festival marketplace or dining location. Excludes souvenir items. Applicable taxes included. Only one Sip and Savor Pass can be used in a singe transaction. No photocopies or reproductions will be accepted.
- To redeem a digital coupon, present the Sip and Savor Pass to a Cast Member at a participating Festival Marketplace or dining location. Then, enter the 4-digit code located on the pass at checkout. The remaining number of digital coupons on the pass will be printed on the receipt. You may also ask a Cast Member at any Festival Marketplace to scan the Sip and Savor Pass to confirm the number of digital coupons on the pass.
- Eligible Sip and Savor Pass items at participating restaurants are tasting-size portions only, not full entrée offerings.
- Sip and Savor Passes and digital coupons will not be replaced if lost, stolen, damaged, or expired. Sip and Savor Passes and digital coupons and nonrefundable, nontransferable, and may not be redeemed for cash, in whole or pin part, and are void if sold or transferred for commercial purpose. No substitutions or change will be given.
