Parkside Market recently soft opened at Downtown Disney District and guests have been getting to enjoy the food, beverage, and views that the new dining destination has to offer. On January 22, 2025, the Parkside Market will officially be opening. Guests visiting Parkside Market can experience GG’s Chicken Shop, Seoul Sister, Sip & Sonder, and VistaParkside Market. These businesses are brought together under the umbrella of Levy Restaurants.

The opening of Parkside Market comes as Southern California has been severely impacted by wildfires in the Los Angeles area. Because of this, Lvy Restaurants has pledged to donate Parkside Market’s January profit to The Los Angeles Regional Food Bank to help support those who have been impacted by the terrible fires.
The following descriptions of each of these restaurants were shared on Monday by Levy Restaurants:
- GG’s Chicken Shop, from Boka Restaurant Group, was founded by James Beard Award-winning restaurateurs Rob Katz and Kevin Boehm, alongside Michelin Star Chef Partner LeeWolen. Serving family-friendly dishes including rotisserie and fried chicken, salads and classic table sides, the restaurant is affectionately named after Chef Wolen’s mother Geri.
- Seoul Sister will serve a Korean-forward menu based on bibimbap (Korean rice bowls) with a California twist. Executive Chef Kelly Kim will oEer bold, yet accessible, flavors with marinated meats, fresh vegetables, and savory sauces served over rice, noodles, or salad. An Asian-inspired breakfast menu will be a first in Downtown Disney.
- Sip & Sonder, from founders Amanda-Jane Thomas and Shanita Nicolas, is a Black-women owned brand currently recognized as one of the best cafés in L.A. by the Los Angeles Times. Signature lattes, along with fresh baked treats, and frozen drinks will combine with the brand’s community-focused vibe to create a center of energy at Parkside Market.
- VistaParkside Market, the second story al fresco bar, brings an extensive cocktail and mocktail program to explore while enjoying ideal views of the district and the new Downtown Disney LIVE! Stage and lawn directly across from Parkside Market. Menu items play into the bar’s scenic name, such as the bourbon-based Morning Mist and the Nocturnal Overlook, a vodka-based coffee cocktail complete with Sip & Sonder espresso. Zero-proof creations include the sparkling Brisk Breeze and refreshing Birds Eye View. For guests looking to drink and dine with a second-story view, food items from Parkside Market’s three downstairs concepts can be ordered and enjoyed at Vista.
Parkside Market will be open seven days a week. GG’s Chicken Shop, Seoul Sister, and Vista Parkside Market will be open daily from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM. Sip & Sonder will open at 7:100 AM and remain open until 11:00 PM.
