On Friday, January 24, 2025, the Disneyland Resort was the place to be for those who love ducks… specifically the Anaheim Ducks. Disney California Adventure and Downtown Disney District were packed with Ducks fans who were there to celebrate the local NHL team.
There were plenty of activities to be found during the day. This included hockey-themed games, chances to meet players, plenty of photo ops, merchandise, foods, a photo-op with Wild Wing, DJs, a Magic Key cup giveaway, stage moments, and a cavalcade! Daps Magic stopped by to check it all out. Here is a look at what the area dedicated to the Anaheim Ducks at Disney California Adventure was like.
In the early afternoon, a cavalcade was held for the Anaheim Ducks. Along with the Ducks themselves, Donald Duck and Daisy Duck were joined by multiple other performers to celebrate this hockey team and its fans. The enthusiasm was infectious as the cavalcade went by.
Over in Downtown Disney District, there were activities to enjoy, games to play, cars to check out, bands to listen to, and also a DJ that entertained.
Anaheim Ducks Day is the best of both worlds for many Disney fans who happen to be fans of the Anaheim Ducks and not just Donald Duck. It is a chance to get up close and even meet some of their favorite players. It is also a lot of fun to celebrate something that you love with a bunch of other people who love it too… and all were wearing black and orange!
