Another new store has opened in the Downtown Disney District. Earlier this week, Parkside Market celebrated its official grand opening. Disney Wonderful World of Sweets also opened on the same day. Today, Disney Storyland Boutique opened. After getting a preview where photos/video was not allowed earlier this week, Daps Magic returned to capture a video tour of the new shop. Disney Storyland Boutique will have revolving themes moving forward. Its first theme is cute and cuddly, one could say Kawaii. Throughout the store there are soft and cuddly plush, shirts, Mix-It’s, and more. Walking around the store, the words “oh, that’s cute” can currently be heard frequently. This starts with the exclusive to the United States merchandise from Disney Store Japan near the entrance and continues through the Winnie the Pooh, Stitch, Baymax, and other merchandise that is found throughout.
This won’t be the permanent theme for the location. It will have different themes with different merchandise throughout the year(s). If things go as planned, the theme could change approximately every quarter.
