Tiana’s Bayou Adventure to Begin Using Standby Queue at Disneyland

Since opening on November 15, 2024 at Disneyland, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure has been utilizing a virtual queue system. Three times throughout the day, guests have had the opportunity to attempt to join the virtual queue through the Disneyland app. If they are successful, they are then invited to experience the attraction when their boarding group is called. Starting on December 10th, this will no longer be the case. Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will begin to use its standby queue. The following update will as shared on the Disneyland website regarding the change:

Starting December 10, 2024, a standby queue will be available at Tiana’s Bayou Adventure and a virtual queue will no longer be in place.

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure also features a Lightning Lane entrance that’s offered through Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Lightning Lane Premier Pass, subject to availability.

As mentioned in the update, guests can still purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass or Lightning Lane Premier Pass to experience the attraction as well. This would allow for guests to experience the attraction by entering through the Lightning Lane entrance and bypass the standby queue.

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure continues the story of Tiana and her friends after the adventures shown in The Princess and the Frog. It is a part of a transformation of the west side of Disneyland. This transformation sees the continued addition of new stories to the attractions and lands that include Bayou Country and New Orleans Square. This has seen new characters that are sure to become beloved friends appear in the land and attraction. It also has new music, new shops, and the arrival of the Hungry Bear Barbecue Restaurant.
