Disneyland Paris Shares That ‘Disney Loves Notre Dame de Paris’ With New Nighttime Show!

In 2019, the world watched in horror as flames poured out of Notre Dame de Paris Cathedral. At the time, the future of this iconic building looked bleak. At the time, French President Emmanuel Macron vowed that the building would be rebuilt in five years. This seemed like a very ambitious goal. However, five years later, the doors of this cathedral are set to reopen on December 7, 2024.

To celebrate the reopening of Notre Dame de Paris, Disneyland Paris is now offering a beautiful new nighttime spectacular. This special presentation will continue through December 14, 2024. The show is a tribute to this iconic monument of French culture and heritage. This show is being presented ahead of Disneyland Illuminations.

Disney Loves Notre Dame de Paris includes a reimagined score performed by the London Symphony Orchestra at Abbey Road Studios. The drones that light up the sky are in collaboration with Dronisos, Disneyland Paris’s Official Technology Provider. Throughout the show, guests are transported into the world of Disney’s The Hunchback of Notre Dame, where beloved characters like Quasimodo and Esmeralda come to life, guided by the mischievous Clopin. All of this storytelling is brought to life with the aforementioned drones, fireworks, and projections on Sleeping Beauty Castle.
