On this day in 2004, Disney Legend Fess Parker was honored with a window in Frontierland at Disneyland. The ceremony marked the 50th anniversary of Parker’s debut as Davy Crockett on the legendary 1950s TV series of the same name. A tribute window is the ultimate honor that Disney Parks bestow. Parker’s window is near the Golden Horseshoe Saloon and reads, “Davy Crockett Coonskin Cap Supply Co., Fess Parker proprietor.” [20 years ago in 2024]
