The walls have come down from around Madame Leota’s Carriage House at the exit of the Haunted Mansion at Disneyland. The new shop has been under construction for months and fans have eagerly awaited to see how it would turn out. While an opening date has not been announced yet, the removal of the walls surrounding this building makes it feel like it could be closer.
The addition of Madame Leota’s Carriage House to the exit of the Haunted Mansion is just part of the expansion of the Haunted Mansion and the transformation of New Orleans Square. This includes adding more queue space for guests entering the Haunted Mansion, with stories that continue from within the beloved attraction. It also sees Magnolia Park getting reimagined and polished, creating a lovely interlude between Tiana’s Palace and the ground of the Haunted Mansion. When complete, it will be a beautiful new look and experience for this area.
A friend of Daps Magic, Spencer, stopped by Disneyland on Tuesday to check out the progress being made in the area. He discovered the walls were down from around Madame Leota’s Carriage House. He also took some photos of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure and the surrounding area documenting the continued changes and enhancements for the area ahead of the attraction’s official opening on Friday. Daps Magic will be covering its opening and also the kick-off of the Holidays at Disneyland Resort this week. Check out Spencer’s photos here:
