On this day in 1904, animator, director, and Disney Legend Vladimir “Bill” Tytla was born. He earned the nickname “The Michelangelo of Animation” and is considered to be the best character animator of the Golden Age. Tytla had a unique ability to bring depth of feeling and personality to his characters that stands out today.
