On this day in 1998, the Town Square Exhibition Hall opened on Main Street, U.S.A. in the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World. It housed exhibits about the history of Walt Disney’s life and Walt Disney World as well as stand-up photo opportunities, like Snow White and Toy Story. Sponsored by Kodak, the space also included the Camera Center and photography displays. In 2011, it would be renamed the Town Square Theater, a meet-and-greet location for Mickey Mouse.
