On this day in 2022, the animated series of six shorts ‘I Am Groot’ debuted on Disney+. The show is set within the MCU, roughly between the ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 films. Baby Groot explores his world and learns about new things, often with humor and more than a bit of chaos. The original voice actors, Vin Diesel as Groot and Bradley Cooper as Rocket Raccoon, returned for the show. A second season debuted in September the following year.
