Two New Cast Members Announced for ‘Star Trek: Starfleet Academy’

Two new cadets have been announced to join the crew that will be on Star Trek: Starfleet Academy. Today Paramount+ announced that Karim Diané (One Of Us Is Lying) and Zoë Steiner (Significant Others) will be the two new cast members joining the new Star Trek series. The announcement comes before the series goes into production later this summer.

Star Trek: Starfleet Academy will “follow the adventures of a new class of Starfleet cadets as they come of age in one of the most legendary places in the galaxy.” Karim Diané and Zoë Steiner join previously announced cast members including other cadets played by Kerrice Brooks, Bella Shepard and George Hawkins. They will also be joined by Holly Hunter as the captain and chancellor of Starfleet Academy. The series protagonist will be played by Paul Giamatti.
